Louigi Turton, Owner of Belize Fun Tours, was born in Belize City and has dedicated more than three decades of his life to Belize's tourism industry. His journey began with challenges that shaped his resilience, perspective, and deep appreciation for people and culture from an early age.

Born with club feet, Louigi underwent corrective surgeries at the age of three at Shriners Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. During this period, he lived in Golconda, Illinois, where he attended Pope County Elementary School and was supported by two host families, the Simmons and the Adkersons. These formative years instilled in him a strong sense of gratitude, adaptability, and community. Louigi proudly says he grew up with "three mothers and three fathers," a reflection of the care and guidance that helped shape his life.

After returning to Belize, Louigi continued his education and built a long and respected career in tourism. He is a licensed tour guide with extensive hands-on experience across the country, spanning cultural, historical, adventure, and nature-based travel.

While much of his time is spent overseeing the management and operations of the business, Louigi regularly puts on his guide's cap, as his true passion remains being out in the field, connecting with guests, sharing stories, and bringing Belize to life through firsthand experiences.

Louigi has a deep passion for travel and food, having visited over 30 states in the United States and more than 20 countries around the world. While he enjoys discovering new cultures and savoring diverse cuisines, nothing compares to his ultimate favorite, classic Belizean rice and beans cooked in coconut milk, prepared over an open flame in the traditional way.

Before founding Belize Fun Tours, Louigi spent many years providing marketing support, operational logistics, and tour coordination for resorts and tour operators throughout Belize. This behind-the-scenes experience gave him a clear understanding of what guests value most, thoughtful planning, reliability, and genuine, well-executed experiences.

Belize Fun Tours was created as a natural extension of that experience, bringing together strong local partnerships, personalized service, and a deep respect for Belize's people, culture, and landscapes. Louigi remains closely involved in day-to-day operations to ensure every guest receives the care, professionalism, and attention that reflect both his personal journey and lifelong commitment to Belize tourism.

Adrian Turton, Senior Guide and Operations Manager at Belize Fun Tours, affectionately known as "The Old Salty Dog," was born and raised in Belize, and his love for the country shines through in every tour he leads. With a diverse background in tourism, Adrian has hands-on experience across many fields, making him an invaluable member of the Fun Tours team.

Early in his career, Adrian worked as a resort engineer in the Turneffe Islands and maintained a fleet of catamarans, gaining deep knowledge of Belize's offshore and marine environments. After years of physically demanding work, he realized his true passion lay in sharing Belize's wonders with others. Following that calling, Adrian became a licensed tour guide, starting by offering offshore deep-sea fishing adventures in southern Belize, particularly in Placencia.

For the last ten years, Adrian has been proudly part of the Fun Tours family, coming home to where he belongs. Whether managing operations behind the scenes or guiding guests on immersive tours, Adrian brings unmatched knowledge, professionalism, and a warm, approachable style. Guests consistently rank him five stars, praising his expertise, storytelling, and genuine care.

One recent review from November 2025 highlights this perfectly: "Adrian was the best guide. We are not normally the go-on-a-guided-tour type of people, but we decided to try it in Belize. We saw two incredible Mayan ruins, had an authentic Mayan lunch, and soaked up the history from local guide Adrian. Thank you. Highly recommend!"

Adrian's mission is simple: to ensure every guest experiences the very best of Belize with safety, insight, and a touch of salty charm that reflects his nickname and his lifelong connection to the country.
